Friendly service, good food, cheap beer. All those combined make a solid local restaurant. I was not disappointed in the least.

Would give 3.5 if possible. Had a large family meal here with my western PA relatives after a long drive from Lancaster. I was honestly very surprised. The place is not very welcoming looking but the service was great and the food was pretty good. I had french onion soup to start and I must be honest it was not the best but decent, I still ate it. I also ordered the chicken alfredo, the chicken was questionable so I picked through it but the pasta and sauce was really good. I ate a few of my brother in laws fried cauliflower and those were also really good. For a 1 horse town restaurant/bar straight out of 1985 I give many props for decent food and again, service was very good, especially considering we had a large party. Would return again when out this way.

I have never in my life been more unhappy with a restaurant. This is easily the worst service I have ever had in my entire life. We walked in, and it took more than ten minutes for anyone to bring us menus, all the while, an older man behind the bar was on his phone/watching TV, completely ignoring us. We ordered our food after being here for 20 minutes. Mine food came out about 40 minutes before my boyfriends food... which is ridiculous!! It took us an hour and 15 to get our food after we ordered.. Leaving us sitting here for almost TWO HOURS waiting for mediocre food. I would not recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy. I will never be back to Paps.

In Blairsville where the non fast food dinner options are pretty slim, I was happy to try this place which is open until 11. While it was quite dead (on a Thursday) I'm a sucker for good made from scratch homemade food. French onion soup that used quality cheese and didn't taste like a salt lick was a good side for my chicken parm dinner which was freshly hand breaded and cooked to perfection. The only downside was the sauce. While not from a can it was veeerrry sweet.
I'll be back to try some more items from their uncrowded menu! -

Will definitely be back! Went with a large group, including many kids. The food was very good, the drinks were priced cheaper than most other restaurants, and the service was fantastic!
